*   COACHES & PARENTS - Please ask your children to pick-up their dugout after their game and parents their sitting areas.  There are plenty of barrels available.  This is your park and also the next team coming in deserves a clean dugout.  With your team there it only takes a few minutes to have them all pick up their trash.  Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

*** League season game balls for your team are in and can be picked up at Haban Park.  We will be giving to coaches instead of the umpires.

****  BASEBALL:  the world's universal language!  If you have any baseball equipment that you could donate to the Republic of Vanatu to help Walden III High School graduate, Javier Alanis,  a Peace Corps volunteer there now, it would be greatly appreciated.  See the article in the Journal Times on Friday, May 30th on how you can help and what it is all about.  Information / Barrels will be available at Haban Park beginning 5/31/2008 for equipment and or donations.  Perhaps you can look around your garage or basement for any equipment no longer being used that you could donate.  Again, the children of Vanatu certainly thank you for any items you may be able to donate.

T-Ball and Coach Pitch play once a week. (Your team may have an occasional Saturday game on the schedule in place of the weekday game.)

Rookie, Prep, Minor, Junior, & Senior play twice per week. (Primary night combinations are M&W and T&Th. Your team may have an occasional Saturday game on the schedule in place of one of the weekday games.) 

The league season will start the first week in June.  Teams usually begin practicing in the second or third week of May.  Practices are determined by the team manager/coach.

BASEBALL Zero Tolerance Registration Information:

This year beginning with Basketball for 2007-08, RYS implemented "Zero Tolerance" registration meaning you must have all requirements for registration (Full Payment, Birth Certificate & Evaluation if required fully completed or you are not considered to be registered.  Baseball will be doing the same for the 2008 season.  There will be no exceptions.   Keep checking the website for 2008 season details now and throughout the season.
