About the RYS Football Program

RYS provides full tackle football for youth from ages 6 to 14 years old (high school students are not eligible).  There are over 2,000 player / coach participants in this program, one of the finest in Wisconsin.  Midget, Cadet, and  Pee Wee play 9 man football.  Our 5 other leagues, Bantam, Rookie, Minor, Junior, & Senior all play 11 man football.  All RYS leagues have a 100% playing time rule.  This means that every player has a starting spot on either offense or defense and plays the entire game.  RYS utilizes seven fields at Haban Park, with other game sites at Case High School, Meyer Park in Norway, Case Eagle Park in Rochester with other possible game sites in the Burlington, Union Grove, Waterford, and Racine areas.

2009 EQUIPMENT RETURN UPDATE

Please call the office if you need player return information.   This process can affect your coaching eligibility.  Players do not be surprised by the "no-play" list if you have not returned all of your equipment even if you registered again for 2010.  Normal Haban Park hours are from 8AM to 4:30PM.  You can call ahead at (262) 886-0797 to ensure someone is at Haban for your clemency return.

2009 Coaches - Did you pick up your sponsor "Thank You" plaque and your thank you plaque for you effortsd.?

Would you like to Sponsor a Football team?  Click Here for details and form.  We also encourage all coaches and parents to solicit sponsors.  Team sponsorships help keep the program costs down.  Sponsors receive a team picture remembrance plaque for $100 and for $150 their logo or tag line would also goes on the team jerseys.  Great reasonably priced advertising that supports the youth sport programs.

Parents & Fans please stay out of the Coach / Player orange sideline boxes during games again as in the past!  Thank you.

PARKING - Coaches please encourage parents to come in one car whenever possible.  Coaches - you should not need to come to your games any earlier than 30 minutes.  It's youth football and that should leave plenty of warm-up time.
