PRESS RELEASE

Racine Youth Sports is pleased to announce that is has partnered up with Gus Macker to host a 3-on-3 basketball tournament in Racine on August 21-22, 2010.  The tournament is open to boys and girls and men and women of all ages and skill levels.  The teams consist of 4 players.  The entry fee is $116.00 per team.  All teams are guaranteed 3 games and  t-shirts.  Games will be played on the lakefront behind Gateway Technical College and on Monument Square in downtown Racine.

 

The weekend event will include a slam dunk contest, free throw shooting contest, around the world contest and a chapel service on Sunday morning.  Teams can now register on-line at www.macker.com  For questions or to volunteer for this event, please call Steve Botzau at (262) 554-6200 or Joe Mooney at (262) 619-1174Get your team together and get registered now by going to www.macker.com !  

 

3/13/2010 - RACINE NIGHT at the ADMIRALS

Racine Night at the Admirals will be held Saturday, March 13 when the Admirals host the Toronto Marlies in a 7 PM game at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.   Again there will be a free post game concert this year featuring the Classic Rock band FOREIGNER!   There is a limited supply of lower-level tickets available for Racine Night. Ticket prices are $16 for adults and $11 for youth ages 12 and under. The game will serve as a fundraiser for Racine groups like Racine Youth Sports. The Admirals will donate$4 from every adult ticket and $2 from every youth ticket sold back to each organization. FANS, PARENTS & PLAYERS PLEASE REMEMBER

There is NO SMOKING at Haban Park - Coaches please also speak to all of your parents and players to remind them to please pick up their dugouts and or sidelines on game days and place their trash to the barrels provided. 

 

EVERYONE  -  Heh, it is not our park…it’s your park!   PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOURSELVES WHEN AT HABAN PARK AND WHEREVER YOU PRACTICE..  THERE ARE PLENTY OF BLUE BARRELS AT HABAN FOR TRASH AND LITTER!  THANKS!  Absolutely no alcoholic beverages and no smoking at Haban Park.  DO NOT park on Borgardt Road east and in front of Haban Park.  The neighbor calls the sheriff/police every time, so for your own benefit, please obey the traffic signs.
