Upcoming Season

Welcome back for the 2024 season of baseball! We're excited to get the season started.

Minor, Major, and Pony Leagues

We are continuing to play our games with SYBA this year.

For Minor, Major and Pony leagues, players will be notified of their team assignments by the end of April. Practice times and locations are determined by the head coach.

The Minor league will play their games on Mondays and Thursdays.

The Major league (formerly Minor) will play their games on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The Pony league (formerly Junior) will play their games on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Note: 15 year old kids can play in Pony league as long as they did NOT play for their high school team.

The first games will start mid-May, weather permitting. Most leagues should be complete by the end of July. If there are rainouts, the season could be extended.

All three leagues will have playoffs that start immediately after the regular season ends. The playoffs could extend into the first week of August.

T-Ball and Coach Pitch Leagues

For T-Ball and Coach Pitch leagues, players will be notified of their team assignments by mid May. Practice times and locations are determined by the head coach.

T-Ball games will be played once a week, on Saturday mornings.

Coach Pitch games will be played once a week, on either Wednesday or Thursday evening.

Coaches

If you are interested in being either a head coach or an assistant coach, please register as a volunteer in the system. Returning coaches must also register as a volunteer.

All coaches will need to pass a background check.

Refund Policy

If you request a refund before the season starts, you will get the full registration amount back.

If you request a refund after the season starts, but before the second week of games, you will get the registration amount, minus $25 back. This is to cover the cost of the jersey and hat.

If you request a refund after the second week of games, but before the midpoint of the season, you will get half the registration amount.

After the midpoint of the season, no refunds will be given.

Baseball Registration 2024

Baseball 2024

Registration ranges from $80 to $140, depending on the league.

RYS can only assure sibling requests. RYS will do it's best for all other requests.

This includes game night choices. Nights of play for the various leagues are driven by player registrations, team, and volunteer coach availability. Players must play on their assigned team and night.

All ages for league eligibility are based on a September 1st cutoff date. For example, if a player turns 11 years old before September 1st, they are eligible to play in the Minor League. If they turn 11 after September 1st, making their eligible age 10, they would be eligible to play in the Prep League.

RYS has many different age levels of play.

T-Ball

1 Game per week on Saturdays

Ages 4 & 5

Coach Pitch

1 Game per week on Wednesday or Thursday

Ages 6 & 7

Minor

2 Games per week on Monday/Thursday

Ages 8-10

Major

2 Games per week on Tuesday/Friday
